ChatGPT was asked to list the top NFL Teams since 2000, you'll be surprised where the Saints ranked (3 Viewers)

I asked chatgpt to do mock drafts this year and it was selecting players from 3 drafts ago.
It tells you right up front the database it uses was finalized in 2021. That makes it pretty useless for current events.

Smh, and 2009 wasn't even our best team. But yeah, I can see where the robot is coming from. If you look at who we beat that season it's pretty impressive. That team beat so many good teams and faced so many top QBs. In the regular season they beat Stafford, Eli, Brady, Matt Ryan twice and then in the playoffs they faced Warner, Favre, and Manning.
I still remember how much praise Belichick was heaping on us after that beat down. One quote:

"They were better than we were in every phase of the game. I don't know how to put it any other way. They were better coached. They played better on offense and defense. They were better in the kicking game. They covered better than we did. They were obviously the better team."

That team went 5-1 against playoff teams with an average winning margin over 10 points a game. Also won the Super Bowl over a 14-2 team by two touchdowns.

That was a damn good football team.
We smoked the Colts. After spotting them 10 points, it was 31-7 the rest of the way. This next part is interesting to me, we beat the Cardinals by 31 points, so did Minnesota over their team. We then scored 31 two more times. Guess how many points we averaged that year. 31.

AI has a long way to go before it even approaches "intelligent". What we have now is just a supercharged internet search program. Nothing intelligent about it. But don't tell a bunch of woke journalism majors in their 20's that. AI is all the rage in media.

Not even the right Saints team lol.

Team DVOA ratings (football outsiders):
2017 35.0% - 1st. 2nd MN at 28.7%
2020 33.3% - 1st. 2nd TB at 31.5%
2019 32.7% - 2nd behind Baltimore 41.2%!!!
2011 28.7% - 1st. 2nd GB 26.2%
2018 25.2% - 2nd behind KC 33.2%. We both got screwed by refs that year. The SB that wasn't.
2009 25.2% - 6th. NE 1st at 29.1%

They've got a decent track record of the team at the top of their rankings (end of the season) winning it all. We had a helluva playoff run 2009, but we should've won a few more with those 2011 & 2017-2020 teams.

I still think that 2017 team was the best. 2011 better offense, but that 2017 D was rolling. 2018 Drew got the injury and wasn't the same the last QTR of season and the playoffs. MN sure got their revenge for the 2009 game. :mad1:

Their best since 2000:
2007 NE 53.4%. NYG at 1.4% :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
2010 NE 44.3%
2019 BAL 41.2%

Good post/find by the OP. :9:

Agree with you, St. Drago. I assume you were referring to our 2011 team, which was an offensive juggernaut. :worthy:
