Yesterday I found TP, paper towels, hand sanitizer, bread, eggs, and milk in one single store. I felt like I had hit the freaking powerball. Never been so excited about groceries.

I might have to go tonight just to see what's up. Haven't been there in a few days.

I've got enough to last my family a month. Haven't looked for any since the national emergency went into effect. But at this rate, I'm beginning to wonder if another month will be enough. Crazy.

We've actually started to eat pick up because I don't want to entirely run out of food. We cooked at home tonight, but some specific ingredients are still a bit difficult to find.
Exactly. I'm still good for at least 3 weeks. I talked to a friend of mine who spoke with a Walmart employee today. The employee said they're still getting in pallets regularly, but they sell out almost as soon as they put it out.

Everyone is at home. Criminals are going to attempt to take things from people while they're at home? Seems like a panicky move from jumpy folk or from people who really want to live out their post-apocalyptic fantasies.
Maybe. Or perhaps police officers start to get it and who will respond. For example, look at the several NOPD officers that got it. That is no fantasy, that is reality staring right at you. When seconds count, police will be minutes or more away.
Having to defend yourself is no fantasy I can assure you.

And NYPD had 7% of their workforce call in sick yesterday. That is a lot of people.
