Quite honestly, I'm wondering the same thing, as I'm sure many of us here are. I'm staggered at pummeling all of our stores have taken over this and the fact that we can't find even these basic supplies.

Not sure there's the bleeding out, but the coagulation in multiple organs is what made me think it's kinda like DIC...

I would think it would be similar if all of the clotting factors are used up like DIC. Once the clotting factors are used up there can be uncontrolled bleeding. It may not get to that level of clotting though.
