I was one hoping Rizzi would step up and was pulling for him to get the job but I think it’s time for a complete change. We need an entire overhaul of everything from coaching to trainers…just everywhere.

Remember when Sean came in and one of the first things he did was got rid of Wayne Gandys recliner (I think it was Gandy) and just held everyone accountable and took control from day 1. I think we need another changing of the guard, wipe our hands clean and start over.

Tonight’s performance has been one of the worst games I’ve seen from this team in a long time and it’s everyone. Seriously, has there been anything positive to take from this game that I’m missing?

Changes needed....all the way up to near the top

Loomis and the ENTIRE staff including the cheerleaders has to go. I just don’t see how you can justify keeping him in charge.
It’s not so much that the Saints lost cause we all knew they would but it’s lack of effort and extremely poor play especially on defense.

If ML is back, Saints fans should boycott all home games next season

This game made it obvious that this team needs a complete and total purge. As much as everyone wants Mickey gone, I think we have to face the facts that he isn't going anywhere. We also have to remember that he's the same guy that brought in a young Sean Payton and Drew Brees. I think his ego got the best of him with DA and maybe that was the wakeup call he needed. We need to just bite the bullet and get rid of all the old heads and just eat it. We'll be able to field a team next year, not a good one, but at least we'll get the money right to be able to properly rebuild in 2026. Part of that purge includes the QB position. We've seen Rattler isn't ready, neither is Jake.
That being said, we cut Carr and move on. There's some QBs out there that are current back ups with NFL experience who can come in and lead the team through this transition and maybe even pan out to be the guy. Guys that come to mind immediately are Sam Howell, Kenny Pickett, Malik Willis and my dark horse favorite, Trey Lance. Trey will be an ufa this year so he should come cheap. Trade what we can for whatever draft stock is available. We'll probably be 5-10 at this point next year too if we do this, but it'll be a team with promise instead of dead in the water like we are now.

After tonight, yep, CLEAN HOUSE! Mathieu should be first one out the door. Ole! Will not stick his nose in to make a tackle. D line next. Need 2 new DT's who can plug the middle.
Matthieu is a disgrace and can’t let his attitude infect the young guys in the secondary. He was over the hill 3 years ago. He basically stole money from Gail.

For the record, I want Loomis gone too.

But tonight, we had exactly ZERO starting skill positions playing offense. We had our second-half preseason game team, with an interim head coach, playing against one of the best teams in the league. What did you expect?
Not talking about this game....talking about what brought us here! over the last 2-3 seasons

I do not think it's a Loomis thing outside of making the DA hire.

Injuries have derailed that last two seasons, and this teams needs more talent.
