Culture change and reset needed (merged) (10 Viewers)

He doesn’t coach and our whole team is hurt. I’m not sure people realize what a GM does
The GM puts the team together, so he's directly responsible for this lemon. Every team faces injuries, good teams prepare for that inevitability. The truth is there is no person singularly more responsible for the last three seasons of dreck than Mickey Loomis.

This should put all of the Rizzi talk to rest...all of it needs to go.

Loomis needed personel decisions to a loser HC and lo and behold they built a loser. <- for this he needs to be moved from football decisions

The players....the players, whoever has value has to go because it's going to be a while before we're any good and they'll be out of their prime before we get good

The fans....we're gonna have to take it on the chin and support a loser for a little - or this will be the end of the NFL in NOLA

If I had a buck everytime someone mentioned relocation after missing the playoffs….

For the record, I want Loomis gone too.

But tonight, we had exactly ZERO starting skill positions playing offense. We had our second-half preseason game team, with an interim head coach, playing against one of the best teams in the league. What did you expect?
All of these problems are consequences of decisions made by Loomis.

Every year we are top on injuries, we are on top also on age of rosters, top on cap restrictions, and four years with quarterback.

Only thing that changed this year is that we fired the head coach, a decision it seems Loomis didn’t agree upon.

He has to watch the game again and quit. It’s time.

I was one hoping Rizzi would step up and was pulling for him to get the job but I think it’s time for a complete change. We need an entire overhaul of everything from coaching to trainers…just everywhere.

Remember when Sean came in and one of the first things he did was got rid of Wayne Gandys recliner (I think it was Gandy) and just held everyone accountable and took control from day 1. I think we need another changing of the guard, wipe our hands clean and start over.

Tonight’s performance has been one of the worst games I’ve seen from this team in a long time and it’s everyone. Seriously, has there been anything positive to take from this game that I’m missing?
Worst display of tackling I’ve ever seen from the Saints, and that’s saying something.

It's not just missing playoffs it's the overall direction of the franchise. Do you think fans will continue to sell out the 60 year old superdome year in year out if this is the product they're putting out on the field?

Fan interest will wane and the vultures will start circling

Every franchise goes through slumps. It doesn’t mean they gonna relocate.

We have an owner with no heirs...Our ownership situation is not the best. We're one missed heartbeat away from being on the OPEN market. New Ownership can pledge to keep the team here but let's be real...all options will be open and with us sucking and being as uninteresting as they were last night local enthusiasm will get back to pre K levels <- it won't be a hard decision with the OKCs and San Antonios of the world lurking.

Oklahoma City is a downgrade from NOLA.
And the Cowboys/Texans will never allow another Texas team.

The Seahawks have no owners right now. They’re just owned by Paul Allen’s estate and there’s no rumors about the Seahawks moving.

I do not think it's a Loomis thing outside of making the DA hire.

Injuries have derailed that last two seasons, and this teams needs more talent.
I also wanting to let go of Jeff Ireland. I know he was part of the 2017 draft, but for God's sake it's been so long since we had that kind of draft and it's been more misses than hit since then.

I would wager the other 31 franchises are having hit or misses in their draft, what most teams have over us is fielding healthy teams, we've been dealing with health issues since Paytons last year, couple that with the cap issues we've accumulated trying to get the most out of a past his prime Drew Brees last years.

You can't say this isn't a Loomis problem and then say the team needs more talent. His personnel decisions are what caused this mess.
He is managing the cap; he has to fill the roster with affordable players; it's not his fault per se when he was the "make it happen Loomis" by SR.com. Now it's "let's get rid of Loomis" when that reign is over.
