Well, in the case of Mayo, most are saying Dan Conner isn't a 1st rounder anymore and that Mayo has surpassed him.

Your right though. One of the top 5 LB's (Mayo, Conner, Rivers, Lofton, Adibi) will be there at our 2nd pick as well as one of the top 5 CB's. We'll get a good player regardless.

There will definitely be a very good LB on the board when our 2nd round pick rolls around... Until we actually pick them though, I'm going to be SUPER nervous. It seems like we LOVE to trade down, and pick up an extra pick w/ our 2nd rounders.

Agreed. Same thing happened to Puz last year. All these workout warriors raise their draft stock while the guys that have been busting up offenses for four years drop.

I'd be fine if Connor dropped to the second round and we picked him up. Tackling machine, versatile/can play inside and outside.

One of these guys is going to fall in our lap in the 2nd....which is the reason I think more and more that we go either Leodis or DRC in the first if the DT's are gone and we can't trade up to get them.

If Mayo is gone i think Conner would be a good pickup. He can back up both WLB and MLB.
