What do you think a rebuild is? It's tearing it down and almost starting from scratch. That's never a good thing for the attitude of the team, expecting to be a losing team due to a rebuild. You think the morale on all those teams that are rebuilding is good? Garrett just asked to be traded from a REBUILDING team

Yes a new coaching staff is a good way to revitalise a team but them knowing this is a rebuilding team, will just suck the juice out of them

In the conference round of playoffs this year, they had the following teams: Bills, Chiefs, Commanders and the Eagles. These were the top 4 teams at the end. Even if the Saints were healthy, they would have probably not made it that far into the playoffs and maybe not even made it at all. Sorry, but we just don't have the roster to compete against the elite teams. I appreciate your optimism, but the Saints are not there yet. Not even close.

LOL is there anyone on this board that has said that the roster is ready to compete for a conference championship ????? The "Optirealists" Yes we are optimistic realists , are saying we are very close to competing for the division title, and that's a place to START. It's the people that think because we don't have that SB roster right now we have to tear it all down and stink for 2-3 yrs to be able to get that roster are misguided
