Dennis Allen confirms that Mickey Loomis was not in favor of firing him after Panthers loss (130 Viewers)

Thought it was common knowledge that Mrs B went over ML head to fire DA or is that a rumor?
DA just letting it be known.
It's his speaking out moment.
Hugh Jackson had one after he got fired in Cleveland.

Oh he's bitter, and hitching Loomis as an ally to his bitterness. Keep going Dennis, tell us the terrible things Mickey said about Gayle. I beg you.

Another strike against Mick. Your non-football elderly owner had to make a call that everyone in the league knew needed to happen, probably last year. A person who cannot admit their wrong or own limitations is a terrible person to be leading the coaching search. How anyone can trust Mick at this point is beyond comprehension.

Expected. Loomis is patient, he likely would have fired him, but not in middle of season. It’s not, never been his MO and though I was happy it happens, it absolutely could have waited till the end of the year because the biggest culprit to the season was injuries.

Those injuries affected Rizzi just like DA.

Now Rizzi did come in and make some changes that Allen stubbornly didn’t, so his firing was deserved but it could have waited because it’s the respectful way to go about things

Injuries weren’t an excuse they were just a fact and he recognized that.

No one feels sorry for Dennis; this was his second chance to prove himself after being given almost three years with two different teams. Two coaches just got fired this year after just one year. Don't let the door hit you . . .

There's another word for patience, it's called being stubborn. Allen should have been fired last year but Mick will not admit he dropped the ball hiring a guy no one else would have hired as HC.
