So glad the team gave him a Super Bowl ring. He deserved it. When you have over 8 minutes of awesome highlights you know you were a good RB. Can you imagine having a big back like Deuce with soft hands and can catch anything paired with Kamara ? It would be like that year we had Bush and Deuce together....

Shame that the knee injuries killed his speed. Kamara is what he was supposed to be and would've been if not for bad luck and Haslett/McCarthy not being able to coach their way out of a wet paper bag that's somehow also on fire.

Deuce was actually Latavius Murray with Kamara’s versatility (and more speed than both).

No other player in NFL history drew the sort of cheers Deuce did every time the Saints would get inside the 10. Not so much of a cheer actually, than a demand on the Coaches to put the ball in the man's hands. Drew was famously put out that we would get so loud inside the 10, but it fit the vibe insofar as we were just as put out if they did anything but give the ball to Deuce.

Strange that this is the only instance of this sort of tradition, but Deuce was truly special. I cannot remember the exact circumstances of how this tradition started, other than exasperation with the play calling near the goal line. Can anyone recall?
