Knowing we needed a qb and he was a heisman winner we drafted a de from no where with traded capital even if Davenport hit his potential it wouldn’t have equaled up to what Lamar has done with little help honestly

Not unfair to say a lot of people got Lamar Jackson wrong, but the other side of that is that Jackson was a legit physical freak with generational talent as a runner.

I feel like once you get to that level you have to be talented and pretty special a lot of it comes down to coaching scheme and real support the kind the produces confidence

I would go rb just because we need the explosiveness from the run game and our lineman seem better suited for the run game

Shadeur Sander's was asked about the Saint's early on in the process and his comment was basically, "As if it was laughable he would ever fall to the Saints." Just cemented my opinion of him. No thank you. You take the value given in a trade and fleece some poor sucker who falls in love.

Here's a thought. If the Saints really don't like him at 9, wouldn't it be wiser to float that they do? The hope would be it would encourage another team take him before they pick, pushing a player they value more down the board.

Unless they actually do like him at 9, but they're afraid another team might do what KC did with Mahomes a few years ago. So they're playing it cool with their interest, hoping that he in fact will slide to them. Hmmmm.

No. Would love to draft Jaxon Dart and let him sit a year. Maybe McCord later if Dart is gone. I think Sanders and Milroy (sp) will be busts at the NFL level

I have a feeling that if he is at 9 I think cowboys give us a deal of a lifetime. Jerry calls the shots there.. no matter who the HC is.. so I see them giving us a haul.. and we still get top pick.
