the biggest issue i have with defense is the tackling...it's terrible

it also seems like the answer is to just run some type of zone blitz on every play....or a cover 2 blitz...

basically, you have to blitz at least one LB and have someone over the top on every play...this will keep most plays in front of you

It honestly seems to depend on who you are playing. If they have a QB that can run you need to play zone and bring zone blitzes to pressure the QB and as run blitzes. You have more options against teams with QBs that can't run. Which, shocking as it is, is kind of like the real game.

Yep it is very annoying. I read that it's that way on purpose. Not a bug, a feature.

I pride myself on defense but it's so tough on this game. I have one shutout in about 150 games played. That was in the CFP tho so I'll take it...I did slow the clock down second half tho, so there's and asterisk.

Finally figured out why I couldn't get into the EA servers. My EA account was linked to an old email for my PSN account. Had to get with chat support and get that unlinked so I could link my "new" accounts. Working just fine now. I managed to download my NSU created team and did a Play Now with them. I do wish there was a true Create A Team like we had years ago. I used Northern Illinois' stadium and there are a few parts of it that obviously don't belong. Nothing that I can't overlook, but certainly a bit distracting. I'll eventually do a dynasty with NSU, but I'll soon start one with ULL and build them up. I just need more time in the day. The last couple have been crazy.

EA Sports College Football 25 Update: Full Patch Timeframe

The team at EA is working on a fix with an EA Sports College Football 25 patch, updating the game's audio and dynasty infrastructure.

Midway thru a game and all of the sudden the game decided to update. Right after I score on a punt return. EA never fails to suck with their online support. This totally breaks the immersion for me. Oh well, my cue to stop playing, turn it off go outside and touch some grass.
