No, it's actually difficult. Although I did hit a 50 yarder that was mostly straight.
 
Also, I'm somehow probably close to 60% on XPs. RNGesus has not been good to me.
 
Trying to use a file someone created in team builder as I want to play with The Citadel but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to load that file. Someone made the college but I can only download and not load...anyone having any luck with this? I'm trying to google and YouTube the answer as well.

That's exactly what it's doing. If you're on the road it's going to be crazy tough. Short kicks are a breeze however as you just don't use any power and it goes where you aim it. Just click on all extra points and it will never waver. They're super easy with that. The meter goes nuts in high stakes situations on the road and I love it even tho I missed 3 against UGA and it cost me the game.

I kind of get it for Field Goals (although I think it's a bit over the top), but it does the same thing for punting. It's almost not worth punting on the road because most of them go 20-30 yards.

I also think the effect of crowd noise on the road is over done. If you have a Freshman QB, sure, but a Junior or Senior QB should not be unable to see the routes clearly.

I enjoy it but agree it's over the top. Had a kicker from Kent State make 5-5 against me with 4 being 55 plus lol.
I'm also a tad tired of the other team getting every onside kick in a late game situation down by two or more scores and coming back to
beat me last second. Still love the game tho.

Oh and if you need to make field fields just come play me at UNLV, there are about 6 people at my home games. 😂

@St. Widge dude feels our pain on field goals. Around 24 minute mark he goes into field goals and had this poignant bit of wisdom:
"When you go out there for a field goal, take a time out and put your offense back on the field." 😂😂😂😂

I finally had a chance to sit down for a bit yesterday to start playing. I got in one Play Now game to get a feel for things. I changed the slider settings (I use some made from a guy on the Operation Sports forums who did them years ago with the old games) that were producing some good results. @antipop, you may find that slider adjustments will help with defense issues. I was never able to log into the EA servers at all yesterday. My son played for much longer than I did and wasn't able to log in either. I would assume that this being the first weekend the game is out for everyone, their servers are getting slammed. You would think that EA would have realized this was going to happen, though, since an 11-year wait built up a bit of anticipation for the game. It sure would be nice if they invested a bit more into their servers.
 
Just got knocked out in the national semifinal by the Buckeyes. They jumped out 31-0 and I clawed back to 31-23 but missed the onside kick. Most fun I've had even in the loss. Love love love this game, warts and all.


Love the recruiting, love being able to try and talk guys out of going pro and transferring and love the coaching carousel.

I know this is dumb as the game will be bare bones on franchise as it always is, but this is getting me excited for Madden.
