Yes I a, amazed most of these people are always rightInteresting. He's saying the Saints job is coveted? That would be opposite of what most have speculated.

Along these lines -- an easy media environment compared to most NFL markets.I think what most are overlooking is a chance for a coach to come in and no pressure, but really be able to build a team.
sure the obvious reasons but the new coach knows we don’t make stupid drastic changes immediately. whoever comes in will be here a while to build the team they want. no 1 and dones here.Lack of talent, lack of youth, lack of cap money. Oh and we're tied to aging players that are on their way out and a mediocre QB (well, at least we're tied to either the aging players or the mediocre qb)

I, for one, am *shocked* that fans and local radio personalities could be wrong about something like that.Interesting. He's saying the Saints job is coveted? That would be opposite of what most have speculated.
Cap space isn’t really meant to spend on anyone just because its there though. Patriots have that much cap space available because they aren’t drafting top market-value stars to re-sign. They also weren’t re-signing significant players under Belichick. Saints extended 6 star draft picks who were selected in 2015-2019. Drafted about 4 more since then.New England has 131,000,000 in cap space. And they have Drake Maye. Very attractive for a coach.
the team is ready to go with a couple good drafts in a horrible divisionLack of talent, lack of youth, lack of cap money. Oh and we're tied to aging players that are on their way out and a mediocre QB (well, at least we're tied to either the aging players or the mediocre qb)
LOL but don't you know ML is a power-mad dictator that tells the HC we must trade up and draft a Davenport or Turner. And it was Loomis that told DA we need to make this deal with the Eagles so we can get a WR and a OT in this draft. Don't you know that??? ( Sarcasm Off)Jets, Raiders, Jags are organizational messes. I think Caleb’s ceiling is Russell Wilson but the Bears are a good option. Pats are the gem of jobs.
Loomis will go to bat for his HC and give them full control. His reticence to fire DA, willingness to turnover assistant coaching staff, and signing of Carr shows those things. Saints are a mid-tier option this year.
Why do you think NE is the best opening? Yeah they have Maye but he's been kind of ehh. They just fired Mayo after ONE yr. Yes they have cap space but they also have 17 of their own FAs. If you think we need talent at every position NE is worse that we areI'd have a higher opinion of Ben Johnson's evaluation of franchises had he not accepted an interview with the Raiders. That is a coaching graveyard that regularly fires coaches and has a terrible owner.
My view of these opening is that New England is clearly the best job and the Raiders are the worst. The other 4 teams are in the middle and the order depends on what a specific coach is looking for. For instance, if a HC loves Caleb Williams they are #2, but if you don't like him they are #5 because you would be stuck with him for at least 3 more years. Same with the Jags and lawrence except Lawrence is more expensive.
Because Gayle Benson doesn’t mettle and will write huge checks to give the coach and front office the support they need.Interesting. He's saying the Saints job is coveted? That would be opposite of what most have speculated.
