I'm sure Nagy is a major reason why Chiefs offense isn't as explosive as it once was under Mahomes, but let's also not ignore that one major reason why Mahomes isn't passing for over 5,000 and 35-40 TD's anymore is that they don't have Tyreek Hill anymore and he usually added a extra dimension to speed, intensity, focus and ability to break opposing secondaries that makes him a bonafide, future HOFer. Now all Mahomes has to work with is a decent-but-declining future HOF TE in Kelce, some decent supporting players but no true 1,000+ yard WR in Hill and his numbers have gradually shown it. Kansas City's FO thought "Oh, we have a GOAT QB, he can make anybody look good" and he can most times, but he can't make them all look like perennial All-Pro WR's and still end up throwing for close to 5,000 yards every season. Doesn't work that way and they have yet to replace that potent, explosive WR they had in Hill. Nagy isn't the one who allowed a future HOF WR to walk to Miami and be forced to walk with past-their-primes vets like Deandre Hopkins, or bit supporting players. When Minnesota let Stefon Diggs leave to go to Buffalo p, they at least replaced him with someone potentially just as good, if not better in Justin Jefferson. Kansas City hasn't done that with #15.This would be a major mistake. Please stop hiring coaches who have failed already as a HC. The only one who might possibly be worth another shot is McCarthy just because of what a mess Jerry Jones is.
On top of that KC's offense has dipped way below standards since he's been back and Mahomes having the worst season of his career. Their defense has been carrying that team for nearly 2 seasons.
Take away Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins and is Joe Burrow and Cincy's offense still a potent, explosive one? To some extent, but forget Burrow throwing for almost 5,000 yards and having a MVP-CALIBER season without Chase or Higgins and suddenly, Burrow begins looking a bit mortal and considering his O-lines have consistently been sheet most of his tenure as a Bengal, he begins taking even more of a beating.
