Nah, I disagree. What has BB done without Tom Brady? Talent and coaching are critical, but talent is
more important.

The problem is Atlanta is very talented and was just missing a coach and a QB. They could solve both of those by hiring Belichick, drafting a QB and/or signing a dude like Kirk Cousins. However I will say he is getting up in age and will be 72 at the start of the season which might save us.

If he had that, he wouldn't have sucked so bad in NE without Brady. Doesn't DA have a better record (with the Saints) than Belichick without Brady?
BB won 10 games with Mac Jones in 2021🤣. Not saying that is something to marvel in, but it’s kinda impressive. Also note that McDaniels was a good OC for BB. McDaniels is still out there waiting for a job👀

DA already shut him out at his own house. Not scared of any defensive head coach really. Allen won’t win every time, but he will always be competitive against his fellow defensive head coaches.

I know a lot of people here or I should say some people here knock Cousins, but if they get Bill and Kirk they are by far and away the division favorites.

I think Bill is past his prime for sure, BUT, give him a solid QB and he will win because he can still coach defense and Sp teams.

And he followed that with an 8-9 and 4-13 seasons.

Hence why I said a good OC hire. Belichick just doesn't scare me the way he used to. Now if he gets an OC who isn't Matt Patricia and actually has ability? Yeah, I'll be worried. But Belichick alone? The man will be 72 when the 2024 season starts. He probably wakes up three times a night to pee. Nap time will be higher on his list than film time.

I'd much rather see Belichick than Harbaugh or Johnson and the likes.

And even if Belichick does have a return to form, like I said, he's 72. He's not going to be around for long.

McDaniels left after that 10 win season. He hired Matt Patricia to be OC, Joe Judge as QB coach. The wheels fell off. All I’m saying is that he can take a talented Atlanta team, get a Kirk Cousins, bring McDaniels back as OC, and that team can be dangerous

I'm not scared of Bill. He's past his time. Unless there's another TB hidden somewhere on Atlanta's practice squad.
This. His old school approach won't work there. I'd love this move from a saints perspective just feels like more of the same from atl.
