Probably something about fandom and wanting your team to to look good. Go out on a positive note

Look , I like to win too, but if losing gives me satisfaction for a dismal season. I take what I can get

Is it not fandom that you want to prevent arguably your biggest rival to miss out on playoffs?

Is it not fandom you want your team to have a better draft pick.

I think this was the best case scenario honestly. We looked pretty good. Got to see some neat “bottom of the playbook” type plays. Rattler got some good experience, made some incredible throws, and we didn’t drop 4 spots in the draft. I ain’t mad a bit

I was all messed up watching this game. I wanted us to lose for apparent reasons, but I continue to find myself rooting for the Saints.

You’ll be ok with it when you can go to sleep an hour or 2 sooner in April.

Anyone who supported Dennis Allen coming back the last 2 seasons chose to lose meaningful games. This meaningless football at the end of the season doesn’t move any needles. Who cares at this point. Higher draft picks have a better impact on the future than winning basically a preseason game in Tampa.

I wanted the Saints to win because it could have been huge for Rattler …

But…

I didn’t want Rizzi to have an emotional win that would cloud his assessment as a potential head coach hire.

I didn’t want anyone in the Saints upper office to think anything less than a complete tear-down was required and needed for this team.

But I rooted for a win.

I just wasn’t disappointed that they lost for a multitude of reasons.
