Fans wanting Saints to lose (1 Viewer)

How many New England fans are happy this afternoon because the Patriots won, a victory that dropped their draft position from one to four?

And how many Pelicans fans would be happy were the Pelicans to start winning games and lose a lottery pick in the next NBA draft?

Lenin wanted Russia to lose the war so that the conditions would exist for his political revolution to take place and succeed. And--yes, sadly--we know that here some in the political party out of power favor bad developments like poor economic news because they might lead to their winning the next election.

Sometimes, short-term pain enhances the likelihood of long-term success. If one thinks the Saints organization needs major change, then logic supports pulling for a loss in the season's final week hoping changes will be made (unlikely) and obtaining as high a pick in the draft as possible.

I was going to post what I think about fans on this board wanting the Saints to lose the last few games but I don't want to be banned, so I will not post anything.
And what happened they lost every game I said they would. Its a big difference between being delusional and being a realist. Nobody wants the Saints to be bad or lose games but I'm not going to deny the inevitable.

If my favorite team is eliminated from the playoffs I always want them to then lose out, securing a higher pick.

This gives my favorite team a better chance at drafting a game changer who will help them get to and win in the playoffs. What it’s all about imo.

Ahhhh yes fans who have had to watch pure trash over the last few years want a better draft pick and the front office to change must be terrible fans.

Lamest post ever.

Winning this last game would have been equal to marrying a stripper.

In an odd way though, when I think about the guys on here going on about how they wanted to win this game - they would 100% marry a stripper. It just seems, very much like the same dude in both scenarios.

Nothing good wouldve come out of winning yesterday. At least this morning you dont have a $35 copay and a venereal disease to deal with.

Sorry not sorry.

I dont care about week 18 when players are playing money ball for incentives when they couldve played with that heart weeks prior and didnt.

I think this was the best case scenario honestly. We looked pretty good. Got to see some neat “bottom of the playbook” type plays. Rattler got some good experience, made some incredible throws, and we didn’t drop 4 spots in the draft. I ain’t mad a bit
^^^^^This!^^^^^
