Favorite But Underrated Movies (1 Viewer)

On the Kevin Smith tip... the movie “Tusk” a comedy/horror was pretty... pretty... pretty good.

Hard to find, but very different and good.

The follow up, Yoga Hosers, was a steaming turd though.

A lot of good ones here so far, I'll add a few moar I didn't see listed...

Red Dawn
District 9
Kick arse
Old Boy (I like both versions)
Green Room
The Devil's Rejects
In Bruges
Baby Driver
Drive
Man on Fire
Leon the Professional
Tron (original and remake)
Sideways
American Gangster

I may revisit and add moar later...

In Bruges was a great movie. Incredibly unique story, makes me want to take a trip there someday....

Just wanted to thank those that wrote about Sunshine. I’d never heard of it and SCIFI is my favorite genre. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie!

The Life of David Gale
In The Bedroom
Bug
Arlington Road
Revolutionary Road
Falling Down

I agree it’s a great movie except the last 20-30 minutes

Up until then the only “villain” was good intentions gone wrong

It was refreshing. They should have stuck with that

Admiral: Roaring Currents

The Thieves

I agree. Didn’t enjoy the last act myself either, but very much enjoyed the first 2/3.

i can hear it much better than i can see it

Stunt Man - Peter O’Toole

Duel - Steven Spielberg’s first hit movie. Never mentioned when his films are discussed

It’s no Raiders or Jurassic Park or Jaws but it absolutely holds up

Network, but it isn't underrated.
Just watched Frantic, Roman Polanski film with Harrison Ford. It was really good.
If you can find a good copy, Cary Grant's "His Girl Friday"
While sticking with the oldies, Arsenic and Old Lace, It happened one night, Easter Parade, Holiday Inn, Donovan's Reef, and Harvey are all good too.
