Saw Frank Marino and Robin Trower at the Capital Centre while tripping on acid. That was the show where I saw the clef notes tumbling out of the speakers like a waterfall, hitting the floor and spreading out like water. Great concert! I don't remember the drive back to UMDFrank Marino was really good....
makes me think of a subcategory question - what album have you bought in the most different mediaIt was either Beastie Boys - License to Ill in 1986 or Van Halen - 1984.
Probably Rush - Moving Pictures. My aunt gifted me her copy that she bought when it came out (which I then lost somehow), then I bought the cassette, then the CD, then the album again, then downloaded it on iTunes.makes me think of a subcategory question - what album have you bought in the most different media
we should also figure out a special prize if someone bought music both on 8 track and mp3
I actually don't know my answer but i'm going to guess Purple Rain

I never had an 8-track player, and I recorded my albums onto blank cassettes. I have quite a few vinyl albums I bought back in the day that are also on mp3.makes me think of a subcategory question - what album have you bought in the most different media

not talking whatever sort of music piracy you're admitting to here - actual purchasesI never had an 8-track player, and I recorded my albums onto blank cassettes. I have quite a few vinyl albums I bought back in the day that are also on mp3.
When I buy a given album in whatever format, I am legally allowed to transfer that album onto additional media, e.g. burn CD to mp3, record album to cassette, etc, as long as said transfers are for personal use only. I wasn't supposed to sell the cassettes I sold back in the day.not talking whatever sort of music piracy you're admitting to here - actual purchases
Bought on vinyl back in the day and also MP3 via Apple Musicnot talking whatever sort of music piracy you're admitting to here - actual purchases
