First Album You Bought With Your Own Money (3 Viewers)

First single i ever bought was a Sir Mix A Lot "I like big butts" tape. First album was the Wallflowers "Bringing Down the Horse" cd.

First one with my own money was Poison - Look What the Cat Dragged In. I never bought singles. I had a rule in middle school, 75% of the album has to be awesome or I don't buy any of it.

Most recent album was last week, the self titled album from Saraya. Marks album #530 from the hair metal era alone. Although I play a bit loose with that term.

Got my eyes on the new Europe album coming out in a couple of months.

TIL that Robin Trower was originally in Procul Harum.

Since I can't search for Kix, have we discussed Kix?

Yes, he was, that was a great, great band that never got their due IMO....

When I think of Robin Trower I always think of Bridge of Sighs (I actually saw the real thing in Venice last October) and the movie Rush, and the big drug dealer (Gregg Allman) playing the song on his car stereo.....great song...

Saw Kix a few times at Hammerheads back in the day.....

OMG, buying an album for one song was the worst.

Probably the soundtrack/score to The Lion King.

The last cassette I ever bought was Alanis Morrisette - Jagged Little Pill.
