For anyone who says Carr is just a stat padder and don’t win: (1 Viewer)

LOL I really don't think you know how an NFL offense works. Unless the QB thinks that the play the OC called is truly doomed he's running that play.

And you just made my point. Some of those RB you mentioned are good RBs and they had a had in the RZ efficiency of the offense , so if you have a Lynch that is going beast mode in the RZ and the QB gives it to him @ the 10 and he scores , the QB's RZ efficiency rating goes up and he had nothing to do with it other than handing the ball to Lynch.
Please. Explain to me how an NFL offense works, and what that has to do with Derek Carr's poor red zone efficiency and what that pertains.

So, The RB's " had a had," in the red zone efficiency. Carr gives them the ball, and they score which has nothing to do with Carr outside of a handoff. Is Carr not to blame then for his poor red zone efficiency? If the RB and what he does has nothing to do with Carr?

I'll gladly bet a donation to SR that if Carr is cut, he will be playing for some team next season for well over $15 million.

Personally, I'm fine if Carr gets cut, but there definitely are teams that would sign Carr and start him in a heartbeat.
What odds are you giving me? Maybe Cleveland if they don’t draft sanders, or Ward! Giants maybe? Steelers?????Give me something? 32 teams? Let’s eliminate NFC South, who don’t think will pay him?!?

Browns, Giants, Steelers. $15 million. Okay I got $100 on it

Carr should play in Canada. Longer and wider field, so more passing yards. Bigger end zone for Derek to bomb his way to points, since he's not wired well to lead sustained drives.

Don't know why you're making this needlessly complicated. Simply stated, if Carr gets cut, some team is gonna pay him $15 million to start for them next season. If he doesn't get cut that negates the bet.

No odds, no trying to figure which team does what.

Probably a safe bet.

Even Sam Darnold, who had done absolutely nothing in his career up to this point, got $10 million on a 1 year deal in which it was known he’d be the starter.

Yep, and after this season, even with the poor performance the last couple of games, he should get a decent contract offer from someone.

I was just simply thinking out loud! I already put it on another thread! No odds! Shanders and ward come out! I got $100 on it! I am paying if he get 15m added to a signing bonus. We may have to wait all season to see what is guarantee

Yep! I see you are $15 million guaranteed! I didn’t know about incentives! Yeah! $100 billion right now on it!! He doesn’t get it next year

LOL . How can you not understand that the QB does not shoulder all the blame or success in RZ efficiency????? Nor does the RB or WR or TE or OL it is a TEAM stat. To ,put the blame or praise on 1 position is absurd. I've given you multiple examples of why it's not all on the QB but you've ignored them C'mon man reason it out

So, you are unwilling to give Carr criticism for his performance. Got it. You've given multiple excuses to avoid giving Carr blame.

The excuses are nauseating. Meanwhile how many former saints are in the playoffs? That played the last two weeks? A lot of guys our FO and Head Coach didn’t want, didn’t think were worth the money or roster spot.

A guy like Baun playing right now, oh sorry no more playing time opportunity for you!

And now we as a fan base are making excuses and justifications of the players and player (Carr) that was brought in by the Dud HC and idiotic Loomis, like it was a smart move.

So Carr is above blame, the career losing, poor leader. It’s everyone else’s fault and all the injuries etc. I see. It’s simply because we are Saints fans and magically if a guy we would mock comes to our team we become blind apologists.

Never mind the fact that close to 15 former saints that we didn’t think were worth being on the team actually played consequential football this post season.

So it seems our fan base is fine with letting winners leave and content with making excuses for the losers we bring in. What has happened to us, Payton leaving really broke us
