Our "starting O Line didn't any better than back-ups. They got a little better in the second half but not what you would call good or even mediocre.

Could it be they looked a little better because of Rattler 's awareness in the pocket and mobility in the backfield?

Wasn't the o-line that played the last game the starting o-line, and the o-line Rattler played behind in those 3 games a patchwork o-line?

In any case, we didn't see Haener play 3 games behind that o-line. But we did see them both play behind the same o-line last Sunday.

The Chargers game we had 4 of 5 starters.

To paraphrase Madden, if you have two backup QBs then you have none.

Neither of these guys is a safe short-term game-manager and neither is an above-average future starter.

Both of these guys are the kind of guys you draft in the late rounds to take a chance that they are the next Brady. Now we know they are not. They are not even the next Purdy.

To be accurate it was only McCoy that was missing in the Charger game. Not McCoy isn't big piece. And JH played behind the same line that SR did in the Den game and drove them for a TD pass with no running plays.
Also the OL play in the 2nd half was like night and day last game even in the run game which basically WAS that last drive. JH had a 1st down throw wiped out by a holding on Patrick

Have you looked up how many times has Haener been sacked? The answer is 6. How many quarters of football has Haener played vs Rattler? The answer is ~4 vs 14. How many times was Haener sacked last game vs how many times Rattler was sacked last game? The answer is 3 vs 0.

Stats are great, but stats don't tell you that Rattler is a rookie who started the season as the #3 QB. I'd expect an 11 year veteran starter like Carr to not take as many sacks as a rookie 3rd string QB who was shoved into action at just about the lowest point the Saints were as a team.
