Thanks to Penning lost their top DB late. Comes down to the their Dline is better than the Saints Oline. Especially with no McCoy. David Carr isn't the type QB that can make them better.

A really bad loss is what happened to the Bucs this week and what we did to Dallas last week.

Nah. Margin of defeat is largely irrelevant. You get a 1 added to the L column for losing by 3 same as you do by 23.

This is a bad loss because the Eagles did their best to hand us the game and we handed it straight back with the offense looking god awful.

2-1 we would have taken before the season started, but losing a game THIS WAY erodes what confidence we fans had built up. This team lacks any real depth at just about every position, and injuries - which should be expected - are going to wreck this team more than other ones that have built up greater flexibility in the draft and with cap management. Kubiak is a great breath of fresh air, but I expect more games like this one and fewer of the first two as this season goes on. The worrisome part of this is DA has never proved himself a determining factor, so there is little reason to expect us to suddenly improve in season. I fear what we saw the first two games was our peak. Hopfully not ...

Doesn't erode my confidence at all. Lets not forget the Eagles are dang good.

Yeah the Saints were all over the mainstream media this week.

Right and I hate that. I know correlation doesn’t equal causation, but Jesus. It feels like every single time we are the unanimous favorite, we put up a stinker.

That was a scared, panicked throw.

He got destroyed on that throw. Yea he could’ve thrown it elsewhere but it shaheed had a chance if he doesn’t get killed.

I’m loving how the fans are jumping ship after a loss. lol We knew we weren’t going undefeated. Our o line underperformed today. Our defense was lackluster going against backup o linemen, down 2 starting WRs, and an aging RB.

But it won’t bring McCoy back and that was the key to this loss today.
