Ghislaine Maxwell Trial (Epstein’s side piece) (3 Viewers)

I may be in the minority here but I agree with everything Kimmel said about Aaron and his “immunization” comment. I’m not a Kimmel fan but his jokes come from actual headlines or comments made, while Aaron is just pulling ish from the air. If I had to choose which of them is the bigger ice hole, Aaron wins easily.
I mean, I don't like A A Ron either. Using the backdrop, though, in this case of the whole Epstein thing to do their measuring makes both of them ice holes.

how does this make Kimmel an ice hole? because he called Rodgers out for accusing him of human trafficking?

maybe so, but I'd be pretty upset if someone accused my of the things that went on at that island.. and i don't think i would ignore it .
My boy Dersh fought back. Now, I don't want to throw shade on Virginia Guiffre but I believe Dersh and she was just absolutely flat out wrong and all sides have dropped their dueling lawsuits regarding that issue.

“Reasonable people can differ on whether the [age of sexual consent - to have sex with anyone] should be 14. Fifteen would seem like an appropriate compromise.”

I brought up Dershowitz only in how his name dovetails with the Epstein case, not in order to make this thread ABOUT Alan Dershowitz and dissect all his legal arguments.

Agree, if he was a single man, but he has a family that is affected by comments like this as well.
there is no high road when being accused of some very sick and disturbing crimes.
most of us here use at least using some kind of common sense with things like this, but there are some disturbed people out there that are just looking for a excuse to do some messed up things that don't use reason before concocting very bad vigilantism.

Still.. even if he was single.. if someone on a nationally televised broadcast makes up crap about you being a pedophile, you're supposed to take the high road? I think you have multiple avenues available at that point which still allow you to maintain the high ground, and I thought Kimmel's response was pretty appropriate given the severity of the accusation leveled against him.

Also I never really knew that Aaron Rodgers was such a thin-skinned aahole but then he just wouldn't shut up about anything ever. Pretty clear he believes he's the smartest guy in any room he walks into and that's never endearing.

Seems relevant to point out that in the strands of the dovetails between the Epstein case - a case about sexual details involving young women - and Dershowitz (an admitted associate of Epstein’s, who admits to having gotten a massage at Epstein’s house and represented Dershowitz in the first prosecution that led to a very light, highly criticized plea deal) that Dershowitz publicly argued in the LA Times for the age of sexual consent to be 15, as a compromise because 14 was also reasonable.

And he is pretty smart. But oftentimes smart people are another word that starts with "smar" -- smarmy -- because they can use language that makes you feel good until you walk away and go, Hey, waaaaittt a minute.

I object.

It's already been proven here that no one can handle a conversation about the problem of trafficking.
I certainly think some here certainly can. The problem is some others can't help themselves and insist on derailing those type of threads.
