Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal announced the state will commit $50-million to bring the center to the area. This makes the total $100-million going toward the center, with the other $50-million coming from Bossier City.
...
Governor Jindal says should the center be built in Bossier City, he expects it to bring more than 10,000 civilian jobs. He expects more jobs to come along from major corporations.
"I had a meeting with some of the senior folks from companies like Dell, Intel, Microsoft, Apple, companies that we'd love to have locate here. They're all extremely interested in being here because of the cyber center," said Governor Jindal.
Senator Mary Landrieu says it looks like it's going to happen. So now, everyone is waiting on the official word the center to start building the center.
