I'd like to see that report.Injuries are up league-wide, with a strong correlation to teams that have synthetic turf having a greater number of soft-tissue injuries.

Well, yeah. I meant every week as far as game weeks at home.No they wouldn’t b/c of away games.
We're talking about hamstrings not the leagueThey are part of the Joke called the NBA?
Kinda land locked off of PoydrasThey do it in vegas too
yes, once for a preseason game against GB in 1999. It was later deemed not being cost effective.Real grass would just die. The Saints did install a real grass surface in the Dome once before, but it was a very pricey and time consuming option for a playing surface.
Allegedly the FieldTurf surface has been tested thoroughly and shows that there is much less stress to soft tissue and joints as compared to natural grass surfaces. They also compared how it affects players in weather conditions that would make the turf slippery like rain & snow.
I really don’t believe the artificial turf is the issue. The Saints may just be soft. Or very, very unlucky.
When I built my home. I put down centipede. I've been very happy with it.It’s possible, but you would need special grow lights.
Even the most shade tolerant grasses (StAug) still needs 6hrs of direct sunlight per day to perform and grow.
Bermuda is the best type for sports and it needs more like 9-10hrs per day of sun, especially with how they will treat it up, on top of that you’ll need air flow also. It’s possible, but it would be a major chore to maintain and the team would never do it.
In Vegas and Arizona their field sits in basically a giant tray on a track and they slide it outside when there’s not a game and it’s mostly natural, that’s the only way they get to play on grass indoors.
This post would brought to you by your favorite landscape contractor from Orange Beach lol
Can we get an investigation and route cause analysis on these freaking injuries already? Implement some corrective actions? These soft tissue injuries are getting stupid. Does the water smell or something? Taste bad? Do we not stretch? Seriously what is happening?
Real grass would die and turn gold mid-season. Paint the yard lines black and keep it moving! Who Dat!Real grass would just die. The Saints did install a real grass surface in the Dome once before, but it was a very pricey and time consuming option for a playing surface.

The trainers work for the team, not Ochsner. Even though Ochsner and the Saints have a partnership, no player is obligated to only receive treatment from Ochsner. Players have every right to see their own physician or specialist, often times they do.Common denominator for both the Saints and Pels — Ochsners trainers. I’d start there
