I agree and Carr having the experience is a huge difference between him and Rattler. The sample size is too small to just anoint Rattler as the DeFacto starting QB as much as many would seem to love that, there is a process. I need to see more of him than just a few games here and there.I don't think Rattler is better QB then Carr right now. Carr is not the QB of the future but if you care about winning now he is, at least in my opinion, the better QB.
I would rather move on from Carr and let Rattler start because I know Carr is not the long term answer and I would rather suck and find out what we have with Rattler, then have another 2 years of mediocrity with Carr.
I do however feel good about him being the number 2 coming out of camp if he can hold onto that spot for another year. It's his first year so the talent is there it will take time. I do agree with you that if you care about winning now Carr is the answer. If you want to rip the band aid off and just start a rebuild Rattler would be the way to go. If history tells us anything Loomis is not and will not strip it down, he is going to try to be in a win mode now until he is gone.
I do agree with all of the points you brought up. In a perfect world it would be amazing to have Rattler just take off and never look back but that's not the norm and he will go through growing pains every young QB does, you have to have the right team in place to cover for him in at times when her does struggle.
