Hot Takes Welcome (Post Commanders Loss) (7 Viewers)

I don't wanna here anything about the "playoffs" again. WE ARE OUT, accept it, hug it, love it! Lets lose these remaining games and on to the draft. I hate it when I am ahead of my time here and can see it all before it happens.
Playoffs??!! Playoffs!!??…

Nice Title

Klingsbury is a terrible HC candidate. If the Saints hired him, it would be among their worst ever hires. I can't believe any of you guys think that would be a smart choice. His record speaks for itself. He's an OK coordinator and that's it.
Jayden Daniels is good because of Jayden Daniels, not because of Klingsbury

Fine with the loss. Glad we can put the Haener vs Rattler discussion to bed. Hate AK getting injured. Hope it's not serious.
Hope the Rizz can stay with the team next year under whatever HC comes onboard. I like him.

I liked the all-or-nothing at the end. We'd used up all of our gifts from heaven getting back into that game. I feel like we'd have lost in OT.

I'll never want to tank for picks. It is a consolation prize when your team is depleted and you lose towards the end of a losing season though.

Can't decide if our O-line is an enigma or an enema. maybe both.

Hard to imagine being down to off-the-street back-ups and rotational dudes at EVERY SKILL POSITION on offense.

Miller runs like maniac. I like that. He could be useful going forward. I imagine AK would've had an even better season if Kendre would've been healthy all year.

Saw the new ultra talented saints cheer team for the first time two weeks ago. They're freaking amazing. (I'm a cheer dad)

Two Point Conversion was the right call IMHO. Kamara was out for the game. The team is going nowhere; might as well try to win it quickly. The worst that could happen is that the draft position improves.
Our defense was playing great and our offense just scored 19 point, should of taken it to overtime I liked our chances better.

At home you kick the XP and go into over time.

This loss is on coach Rizz

Disagree. If you have the better team on both sides of the ball, the you kick it.

This team is not stopping Daniels when it’s 4 downs football. It’s took fortunate penalties on most of our scoring drives. Zero chance we get those “make it a close game” calls in OT.

The refs weren’t going to be denied today. They had money on Washington today. I hope they choke on their Christmas pudding.

I’m fine with the results. I’m at peace.

Rattler is the chosen one. Under similar crap circumstances, Rat showed he is going to be the building block (if you want to call him that) moving forward. I’m at peace with that. He just needs to fine tune a few things, and I would still draft a quarterback high in the draft if possible.

Rizzi ball might not be the long term answer, but if you are going to be in purgatory (as you get out of cap Hell) he wouldn’t be a bad coach to shepherd you though those times.

Rizzi is on a streak.

If you go into next season with Juwan Johnson or Foster as your #1 & #2 TEs you get what you deserve.

Kendre is developing into the guy we expected. Darn DA for being a culture vulture.

Washington is going to have a hard time in the playoffs if they get in. 1 and done would be my prediction. Daniels is the best quarterback in this draft (or the last 3), but he needs better talent around him.
I admit the refs weren't perfect, which they never are, but Washington had 9 penalties for 84 yds and we had 4 for 36. Just exactly where did the refs hurt us? Seems like we hurt ourselves plenty.

Everybody is ragging on Haener but the pass pro was putrid and the receivers weren't any better. He was getting smashed every time he threw a pass (and sometimes before). He never stood a chance.

The whole team was better in the second half and Rattler showed that we start him for the rest of the season. The kid is crazy talented.

There was a DPI in the 4th that should have been called, but it wasn’t.

Yeah, and they stopped the clock for us at the goalline at the end. If they don't stop the clock we probably don't get the last play off. So it went both ways

Jayden Daniels looked pretty unimpressive today.
He threw 3 bombs that were a half yard too long or else it’s possible the score would have been insurmountable by the time Rattler started his game-tying drive. I was mostly surprised by how much he was sacked today. But it’s hard to say how many of those 8 sacks were the fault of Daniels or his offensive line.
