How did I never watch Kamara in college? (1 Viewer)

to be fair to his college coaches, 32 teams didn't see an every down back either including us. And that is a good thing because if we had, either Lattimore or Ramczyk likely wouldn't even be on this team.
Ramczyk was a different draft. Not sure how Lattimore's draft status had anything to do with us trading up to draft Kamara.

If we're being fair though......Saban apparently didn't really know what he had in Kamara, either.

RB depth-wise, Saban probably had better reasons for that than Butch Jones, but still.
It isn't a matter of Saban not knowing what he had as it was a matter of Kamara having some problems. Kamara was wild at Alabama. He got suspended, arrested, and then left. He credits the consequences he received for help making him the person he is today. Here are a few links to read more about his route to us:

"The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural."

Sean Payton unlocked Kamara's full power.

I remember catching the tail end of that Tennessee/A&M game and being mesmerized by AK in that game. I hopped into my group chat and asked "who is #6 for Tennessee? Sean Payton would love this guy"

I remember where I was when I saw that game. Kinda random because I usually only watch LSU when it comes to college football. I remember worrying that Tennessee was going to be something special. lol. What a bunch of dummies for overlooking Kamara
