Does anyone still think there's any chance at all that Allen turns this around? I'd say it's less than 5 percent.

But now you're also stuck with Carr because they arrogantly thought a mid level QB would put them over the top.

Not to mention bad contracts to Davis, Jordan, Ruiz, Johnson and kicking the cap down the road.

I'd say if they do the right thing and fire everyone and start completely over, it's going to take at least two years to just take the cap hits of getting off guys like Jordan, Davis, Ram, etc.

Should have done thst this of season. Dump every high priced vet. Trade whonyou can and start your tits cultural rebuild.

FOR the ELEVENTYMILLIONTH TIME.....the Saints do not believe in tanking or rebuilding. They have shot that notion down repeatedly. We as fans may agree or disagree with that sentiment. I understand why they do not want to. But some of you keep coming on here talking about "just tank" or "lets start the rebuild"....it's just never gonna happen. Not they way some of you want it. NOW....all the expert capologists in the country are on X talking about cap ramifications and what's feasible and what's not. The Saints have a plan. They know what they are doing.

At least 2-3 years… AT LEAST.

The Saints only hope for the future is to clean house asap and scrap this garbage coaching staff… draft a legit QB prospect with true upside and potential…

Let the young kid sit for a year and learn behind Carr (a wasted year).. then take over the following year w/ Carr as his backup (before ditching Carr the following offseason).

That’s best case scenario… but that would require the Saints to hit on a new HC, and also hit on a young QB (both of which feel like huge long shots)

No one knows what will happen in the 10 remaining games, so yes, there's definitely a chance the Saints turn it around.

Saints need to be in the one-game-at-a-time mindset and focus solely on beating their next opponent (@Colts).

If they fire Allen, there’s a chance. 60 games in the NFL and you know what you have. You are what you are. You’ve earned what you are. And he is the 4th worst coach in the Super Bowl era at 60 games.

Otherwise, what you’ve seen from this team is how it’s going to be. No changes. No spark. No accountability. Just the players trying to overcome the pathetic HC on the sideline.

Who do the Saints replace Allen with if they sack him mid-season?

You really believe that Allen and Loomis know what they're doing?

This is the same duo that went hard for Deshaun Watson. Signed Carr. Retained Pete. Gave lifetime achievement contracts to Jordan and Davis, etc. Look at the downgrade in assistant coaches since Payton left.

What exactly is the plan? This is an old old team. Who are the top 5 players at their position on the roster? Lattimore? Who else? Not Ram anymore. Not Davis or Jordan anymore.

One of the biggest lies this fanbase tells itself is this roster is so talented. Not really.

At least 5

We’ll be in the gutter long enough to draft Arch Manning.

YES...…the front office does! The ONLY mistake they have made is keeping with the "status quo" Sticking with what Payton/Brees built. DA and PC are not the answer. We all know that. The Payton/Brees thing is old, stale and outdated. Yes....they have some players that should not have been extended or shown the door by now. Its funny how 2 maybe 3 players only make a team old. Take those players away...its one of the younger rosters.
