How many years did keeping Allen and signing Carr set back the team? (1 Viewer)

Has Allen set us back. Yes. And he’s probably here at least one more year.

What about Loomis? Has he set us back? Oh YES big time!

When does it turn around?

Unfortunately, the big picture says you might be wise to expect continuous setbacks until we get a new owner. That strings the current setback situation all the way out to when Mrs Benson sells and Loomis retires.

Hope your not an old fart 💨 !!!

So mister communication expert, here is you in your own words.....

No mention of the Saints above, just the last line about the Patriots, how in the world am I supposed to infer that you are talking about the Saints here?
True. Apologies

The reasons that Payton was successful and Allen is not are for the exact same reasons just opposite sides. When Payton came in, he looked at the talent he had, looked at Brees and designed an offense to fit the players strengths. Same thing Belichick did in New England. He designed his team around the talent, and put the talent in positions to maximize their strengths. Payton now in Denver is trying to do the same thing he did here, but his talent isn’t matching what he wants to do. Same with Belichick in Ne

Allen has put together a team that in his own words is a “strong run first team that takes its shots”. Problem is his OL, WRs, RB, none of his offense matches what he wants to do, and that style of offense doesn’t work now anyways. Square peg, round hole. It’s why he couldn’t figure out what do do with Kamara. Why Thomas, one of your best WRs in traffic over the middle is running sideline routes. Talent doesn’t equal what he wants it to do.
