I agree, but I don't see national outlets ranking us that way. Beat KC and we'd fall to the single digit rankings in their eyes. The disrespect is real!

I don’t know if “care” is the right word. It’s just something extra to talk about during the week, that’s all.

Not much different than a non-championship caliber college football team’s fans caring about their teams’ ranking in the polls. People want to see their team getting their props after big wins and being respected, that’s all.

Eventually, as the season goes on, it becomes an interesting barometer of the caliber of team you’re seeing. Ultimately it all boils down to the playoffs and playoff luck though, obviously.

I don't really care that the Saints only moved 2 spot. Like many have said we beat the likely worst team in the NFL.

What blows my mind is how far they moved the Bucs.

The Panthers where ranked 32 pre week 1 and we beat them and moved up two spots.

The Commanders where ranked 28 pre week 1 so clearly one of the worst teams in the NFL and they moved the Bucs from 21 all the way to 13. Are you kidding me.

What a joke. They have Pittsburgh ahead of us after they could only score 18 points against Atlanta who’s defense is poor.

What does it take to get respect from the media. They are a real joke.

Please remember as of now (Goodell could change it, don't laugh) , these FEO (For Entertainment Only) power rankings play no part on whether or not an NFL team makes the playoffs.
