I just read through the whole thing. Very nice snapshot of week 1 and the rankings are fair if you're into that sort of thing.

The Panthers are the worst team in the NFL. The Saints won’t get respect until they beat a legit team.

Yes that game was much more about the Panthers. The Saints did what any decent NFL team would of done.

That said i think last year team would of not done this. I remember they struggled to beat Tennessee and Carolina even with defense playing well.

I dont think the Saints showed much of thier offensive hand last week, but boy you could see the improvements. For once the offense didnt look stale.

What a joke. They have Pittsburgh ahead of us after they could only score 18 points against Atlanta who’s defense is poor.

What does it take to get respect from the media. They are a real joke.

I used to get upset with the media disrespect. Like one time, I was watching a spot titled, "The Five Undefeated Teams Remaining In The NFL, of which the Saints were one, and the show did four segments and did not show a single thing about the Saints. It was laughably ridiculous. But almost every time the media picks us, we crap the bed.

So until we actually win it all, I won't care because we keep burning them when they support us.

Dave it’s the National media or ESPN Conference. I never pay attention to them. Even when we were a really good team, they were waiting with bated breath for us to fall down.

I remember this. That is right on the money. You could tell that they were really unhappy. The Saints were a top-tier team.

Shocking. There are huge questions surrounding the head coaches quality (don’t hang me but his record as HC is questionable) new offensive system, very thin depth at some positions, a QB who again has some questions surrounding his ability (most have him rated as upper average) and we just beat a team which is barely an NFL team. I wonder why people still question. Tomorrow we have Dallas, next week then the eagles. Go 2-1 you’ll start seeing some respect. Go 1-3 meh. Manage to get 3-0, the respect will come.

I think that 3-0 is possible. But it requires everyone to be healthy and playing the prefect game. We get a couple injuries and I don’t think knot happens. We’re not that good, and don’t have that depth
