BB is 71 and likely only has a few years left. Tomlin is 51and could easily coach another 20 years. No question you go with Tomlin if he became available but there is little chance of that happening since they haven't fired a HC since 1969. Since then they have had 3. Knoll and Cowherd retired and are HOF coaches. Tomlin was hired in 2007 and will be a HOF coach when he retires.

I will raise a mild argument with the "no nonsense" bit as he has a pretty well established reputation as being the kind of guy who knows that different players respond best to different kinds of coaching.

He does look really serious on the sidelines though. LOL

He obviously handles things right as far as players are concerned. But I think he's a tough coach and they know it.

The one thing that the winners and losers of superbowl have in common the last 6 yrs is great QBs and offensive play calling HC coaches. Most of the HC hires after this season, will be offensive head coaches.
