If Jeanty, T-McMillan and Will Johnson are on the board at #9, who are you taking?

Who would you pick if Will Johnson, Ashton Jeanty and Tet McMillan are all available at #9?

If those 3 are there, I'm going with Tet. As of right now we do not have a dominant WR and sadly we do not know how much longer Olave will hold up with the concussions he's sustained. Our RB room, while not amazing, still has AK, CEH a proven starter, Miller if he can stay healthy, Mims, and Velus. Will Johnson would be intriguing but I feel our WR room is the worse of the 3.

I’m going back in forth between Tet and Jeanty. I think that Jeanty is the more talented player, so he really should be the pick but the reason why I’d consider Tet has nothing to do with anything you mentioned. Kamara is still looking pretty good but he’s reached his expiration date statistically…you have to have a very good backup plan to a 30ish year old RB. CEH is NOT a proven starter. He’s a backup and not a particularly strong back up, not remotely close to Jeanty. I’m simply not a believer in Miller. He’s ok…probably better than CEH, but he has never looked close to as good as Kamara in his time in the NFL. He’s a serviceable #2, but he’s not special. Mims is a guy…a #3-4…not a guy that would prevent you from getting a Barry Sanders like talent.

But the reason why I’d consider Tet is that this is a really strong draft at RB. There will be a RB in the 2nd round better than Miller. There won’t be a WR in the 2nd round close to what Tet can give you.

I'd be fine with any of them, but I do think our biggest need out of those 3 positions is WR, amd it's not particularly close. We really don't have a reliable WR1. Offense will not go far without a solid WR1 leading that group.

And the draft is pretty deep at RB so we can pick up a decent one in the 2nd or later rounds.

I'm still on the Jeanty or Tyler Warren board. Jeanty, Warren, Graham and Carter are the 4 best players in this draft. If Hunter was going to play both CB and WR, I would include him. But if he does play 1 position in the NFL which I suspect he will, he comes a 5-12 player. I feel like everyone is ranking him based on getting two positions which I don't see happening.

Tet - I don't see being as good for us as Jeanty or Warren since Tet will usually be running around the sidelines
Johnson - I don't see being as good for us as Tet even, since we are desperate for offensive playmakers and he won't be as beneficial for us running along the sidelines.

We're desperate for playmakers in the middle of the field which for me means Jeanty, Warren, Carter or Graham. More so, we're desperate for offensive playmakers in the middle of the field, which further narrows it down to Warren or Jeanty.

my heart says Jeanty…my brain says tet. Therefore it’ll be the CB with a bad hammy or DL/OL with a high RAS score but not very good at the game of football.

Fix this team from the inside out. We need to fix the trenches before we can look at these skills positions. Fans get so enamored with the flashy guys.

Carter and Graham are the only two trench players worth a top 10 pick in this draft. Campbell is overrated. We all (those of us who watch LSU every week) watched him get pushed around last year and Durham, whenever running to his side was bobbing and weaving behind the LOS because of it. LSU Oline was a big reason of the many reasons LSU struggled so much last year. I don't think a single Olineman in this draft is a day 1 starter.
