Some nights I go down a rabbit hole of watching videos of covers on YouTube. It's especially good when you find a song that a lot of people cover so you have a good sample size, but like random sheet, not standards.

You'll see a few really well done versions. You'll see a bunch of hilarious crap, and sometimes, you'll get something that is really good and bad at the same time. These make it all worth it.

For covers, I love it when someone or a group takes a song and does it in their own style rather than copying the original artist's version. That's why I love the above version of Sweet Child O'Mine and the one below.

I searched the thread, and this was posted 5 years ago, but it's no longer viewable in the original post.

David Draiman's voice is so powerful of this classic. It's so different from the original, but he knocks this out of the park.
