I really hope SP commits to running the ball more. I know we're ranked in the top 10 in rushing, but with our stable of backs that we have we should be #1! I bet if SP calls 7-10 more runs to 7-10 less passes we would be number one, have less turnovers, and more wins this season.

I love what Khiry did in OT, but let's also realize that he was around 3 yards a carry before that run.

Getting Ingram back only helps us. Both should get heavy workloads against Detroit if we want to win.

Guess who's averaging 6.0?

Great we have awesome RBs!!!! Why are people arguing about who will get the ball? As long as they don't suck when they get the rock I really don't care.

Neither do I, but I don't believe you remove a producing running back just because one is coming back from injury.
If Robinson was out injured for a few weeks and Ingram was producing, leave Ingram in there.

OK but do you remove a producing RB when the RB coming back was performing slightly better? If this was Cadet coming back from injury or something I'd understand.

I go with the hot hand and whomever is in the groove. Plus, I'm superstitious at this point.

I think I will go with Robinson, his career ypg is 4.6, Ingrams is 4.2, so I'm going with the more productive RB, to answer your question.

So you are going with the hot hand or basing it off of career stats, which one is it? Because this year and last year there was no better rusher on the team than Ingram.

Both, hot hand (Robinson) Ingram's been out the past 3 games, career stats, (Robinson), plus he just scored the game winner (superstitious).

Can we have khiry and ingram to get 20 carries apiece?

Truth be told i don't think we'll be able to run a ton against detroit even if we fully commit to the run, and we never will. Suh + Fairley is truly troubling for our OL. Let's hope we can play just fine and we don't see 70 passes thrown by brees.

After watching khiry and pierre...we don't need any kind of ingram-brought hammer in the run game. We simply need to run way more than we're doing at the present time, regardless of who is actually going to run, whether it is khiry and pierre, ingram and pierre or ingram and khiry.

Exactly....We avg 130+ with sporadic attempts coming from behind etc. Imagine if we kept the hammer down no matter what?

Probably avg 160+ very easily opening up the playaction game big time.

Only way I think we will be successful rushing is to the outside. Suh is going to be in the backfield all day.
