Ironman 3 (Extremis) (1 Viewer)

Gone is Agt Cohlson to replaced most likely by Cobie Smulders' character. Tied in somewhere is supposedly 'Radioactive Man' and 'Firepower'. There are also rumors that the post-credit teaser will feature scenes from the Ant-Man film that's being worked on. So, apparently they're going to 'take elements' from the "Extremis" storyline and use it to introduce nanotechnology and then Ant-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You keep hearing different things about Kingsley's character in this film: He's The Mandarin, he't not the Mandarin, he's a character inspired by the Mandarin, etc. who was a pretty bad dude in his own right. IMDB.com does say "Mandarin", though.

This is the last solo film for which RDJr is under contract for, so this could very well be the last Ironman film, although we still have possibly two more Avenger films for Ironman to appear in. Pretty stoked regardless because both films have been stellar, IMO.

My thought: Ironman gets his tail whipped in Ironman 3, the nanotechnology leads the storyline to bleeding edge armor, unveiled in the next Avengers film.

They unveiled a new suit of armor in a still released during Comic Con 2012, BTW...

There was a followup to Extremis that involved the new, less racist version of the Mandarin trying to use Extremis as a bioweapon. They may just be folding the two stories together. Coincidentally, this was actually one of the first stories featuring the modern version of the character.

I can't see Iron Man getting tailwhipped and then going on to fight Thanos IF Mandarin wins out in the end. But other than that I love the whole structure of the group of films. Looks awesome.
