From reading tweets from below that tweet at Twitter I have concluded that it's a natural gas fire in a swimming pool equipment room. (That's what the Iranian official source said.)

In a pool equipment room there will be a fair sized water heater/boiler which will have about a 1 inch gas line, or larger going to it. That's a large enough gas line to support the gas fire I see on those videos.

Pool rooms also contain Chlorine, and Chlorine eats through things like steel gas lines.

I would think this was just a normal natural gas fire, normal gas fires happen. I've seen some hellacious normal gas fires during my lifetime.

They ought to be glad that it wasn't in a large laundry, they also have boilers, and that same Chlorine in the room problem eating through their pipes. A typical large laundry boiler will be much larger, with a much larger gas line going to it than a pool boiler will be.
