It appears the Kellen Moore thing is shaky (141 Viewers)

Their argument seems to support Kafka indirectly.

LOL Simms sure likes to cherry pick . Yes McCarthy took playcalling away from Moore in 23 and let him go . But in 21 Moore has the #1 offense scoring 530 pts , 27 pts more than when MM took over calling plays. Simms failed to mention that. He also failed to mention that Moore's 1 yr with the chargers Herbert was hurt a good part of the yr. . He also failed to mention that the Philly offense was in disarray last yr , In fighting . Yes they added Barkley but isn't that what a good OC does rights the ship and gets the most out of the players he has?

I agree with Florio that a good coach takes a marginal player and makes him better like Johnson did with Goff. Thgat's why I was not on the Joe Brady train because he had and elite Allen to start with. But Moore did that with Dak

its a strange time to be a Saints fan. It feels like no one wants to move forward in speculating the draft and coaches, and rightfully so. I know i dont want to waste time until i know for sure who will be the HC. I can be OK with Kellen Moore. He's got some accolades and solid experience from being around the league with three teams. He can also speak in front of a large crowd and appears confident. So this tells me that he can at least represent as a HC with the media etc. With that said, theres a ton of unknowns that have to be resolved before and fans energy can be restored. So even if he was named head coach today, there still would be intrepidation from the fan base. Or maybe its just me lol.

Yeah all you hear is Barkley, but it's really Barkley running behind probably the best OL in the league for the last 5 yrs. But who needs the " Fat Guys"
How do we know Shaheed won't get hurt again behind an improved OL? That's my concern. I don't want false hope again with a healthy roster weeks 1-2. We need to do something about Johnson.

This is kinda what ive tried to tell folks around here, the chaos is born out if the unknown. Things will settle down once we know who the coach is, and 3 days with no activity pretty much tells us who the coach is, now we just wait to make sure we aren't gonna get stood up.

I cringe listening to Simms. He is one of the worst talking heads in the history of sports. At least that is how I feel.

Grantham was an awful DL coach he developed NO ONE except maybe Bresse slightly. A better DL coach may very well get more out of Turner and Foskey
Our pass D was a hodgepodge of injured, then traded and made to switch positions mid-season to starting a rookie and all with almost no pass rush
I'll bet you a $20 donation to SR that Adebo is back next yr. . Give Taylor a full TC on the outside and he'll be fine.

While to ignore injury history is foolish to plan on it is absurd. Olave will do everything possible to strengthen the areas of issue . WRs get hurt it's the nature of the position, But we do need an big contested catch X , that what the draft is for.

There are maybe 4-5 QBs in the league that can consistently put the offense on their arm with success. And their teams are not parting with them

Every yr a good HC takes over a team that their chicken little fans ( They call themselves realists) say have no hope and will be bottom dwellers and that HC and staff have them making great progress
I get what you're saying but I do not want Olave as a number one receiver. Carr has a tendency to throw to his guys. You better have a solid number one for clutch situations.
