N/S It looks like we traded Lattimore at the right time (Lattimore Out back to back weeks in Washington) (3 Viewers)

Int's are not the best way to judge Cb''s. It means they are thrown at more often. The best Cb's disrupt the routes
and force the QB to go to his next option.
I wasn’t implying that they were or weren’t. Just stating that I had no idea Waymer had that many.

To me Latt is the best we’ve ever had.

we should have tried to trade lattimore in offseason for a first and maybe slight change. his cap was always an issue and he had great value despite a high contract probably needing retooling long term.

They did try to trade him in the offseason but there were no offers. Right before the trade deadline was the height of his value.

If Mia. only had to give a 3rd for Ramsey what makes you think that we could have gotten a 1st for a more often injured Latt?

Where I think the trade gets better is that Wash is headed into the tough part of their schedule. Watch that pick get higher

Commanders fans aren't too happy about this.

This will prove to be a good trade in the end. Latt is an outstanding CB when he is on the field. He's been hurt a lot the last 3 years.

I always find it interesting when fans feel the need to "win" a trade, when in reality both teams are trading with each other trying to obtain their goals.
Washington is doing well right now, so no need to rush Latt back. Having him healthy in the playoffs should be their goal.

Some of the best shutdown corners in the league don't get INTs at all.
I remember Nnamdi Asomugha on the Raiders, the opposing QB would rarely throw his way since he had everyone blanketed. He was one of the best corners in the game but only had like 3 INT's in a season. They literally only threw his way like 3-4 times per game.

Latt was traded for post season play not regular.

If he is healthy then and dominates, then great trade

Lattimore is the overall best CB to ever suit up for the Saints, but….Porter has the two most iconic plays ever by a Saints CB
Porter's Superbowl pick six resulted in the second-most beer spilled in Saints history!

Paulson Adebo agrees! He's got great ball skills and I love him on the Saints, but opposing QBs know he can be had from time to time.

Lattimore's side of the field, on the other hand, might as well have been invisible.

Don't players usually have to pass a physical before trades become final?
Its not a requirement its usually up to the team. It's hard to hide now with technology but imagine its the 90s and Barry Sanders breaks his foot in the off season. The lions try to hide the information and trade him for max value before the news come out. A team could trade for him and found out he was hurt after the trade. This is extreme scenerio and unlikely but alot of teams add pending a physical to prevent these type of trades from happening. But a team could also trade with knowledge of the injury in which they probably trade at a discount hoping to get huge gains on their investment.

The best play I've ever seen a Saints Cb make didn't show up in the stats. It was Jabari Greer in the 2009 NFCCG.
It occured on Tracy Porters Int. Favre rolled out,and Greer positioned himself between Favre and Wr. Percy Harvin.
If he bit on Harvin,Favre runs for a first down. If he bit on Farve it's an easy pass to Harvin down the sideline.
Greer stood perfectly still and forced Favre to throw an ill advised pass over the middle.
