My stepson lives in Brandon and works for the state DEQ. Brandon is pretty much a suburb of Jackson and where he lives is a nice neighborhood. He won’t even go to downtown Jackson anymore and thankfully his job keeps him out on the road so he doesn’t have to go into his office very much.

I think 3 lawsuits so far have been filed, with the EPA involved government officials are open game, like Flynt, MI if the governor or governors are to blame they will be charged. I did read where the former mayor (Yarber) tried to declare a state of emergency for the state to come in but the city council struck him down, so perhaps all of the bafoonery will catch up with all those involved.
