I'm not a big fan of Clowney personally, but w/ all the 2nd rate, Rookie, and just bad QBs we play this yr. I can't think of a better way to win the turn over battle, then w/ our stacked secondary. This could be pivotal in getting to 10 + wins.

Anyone want to speculate on what the cost would be bring him here.
 
Oh my!! Here we go again. Don't get me wrong I would really like the Saints to bring him in, But not at the price he wants. He's not that player he used to be anymore and not worth that kind of money either. Didn't the Saints try going after him a couple of years ago or was it last year and lost out. Don't want to play that game again, use the Saints until the last minute to get a better contract somewhere else. Clowney will use the Saints to get a better deal with the Ravens.

Its a business as they say when they escort you out of camp. I have no issues with a guy making what he can.

He's supposedly an excellent run defender. Our running d has been trending downward for 2-3 years now. I say if he's not too expensive, sign him. It'll help with depth at least.

One of the podcasts I watched said that we tried to sign him a season or two ago, and that once a player turns Loomis down, he will not go after him again. I'd rather have ngoque anyway. He has something like 19.5 sacks over the last 3 years. And he's younger
