N/S Jameis Winston/Browns just beat the Ravens (1 Viewer)

Jameis was always capable of giving you a game or two like he was the best quarterback in the league. The question was always consistency. What will he do when he plays the next game?
If anything he messed himself up with taking the job in NOLA, he should've held out for a starting gig like Baker did and he'd be years ahead of where he is currently.

He literally had Baker's gig complete with Godwin and Evans.

I hold no grudge against Winston, though I think we can't discount his two injury plagued seasons that derailed his attempt to be a starter in New Orleans (the Bucs horse collar knee injury in 21 and the broken vertebrae in 22). Admittedly, that's not necessarily his fault except maybe getting older and more vulnerable dirty plays and hard hits.

If Jameis had a decent 2021 and 2022 season he’d have gotten Derek Carr’s money. He wasn’t gonna play on 2 year, $8 million “prove it” deals forever

I think DeShaun is done in Cleveland ... that was hands down the worst FA acquisition in NFL history, maybe it all of sports history (though some MLB deals have been pretty bad)
