"After initial assessments, the team found the telescope is still performing at a level that exceeds all mission requirements," NASA said. "Thorough analysis and measurements are ongoing."
Ugh, that sucks. This is a problem that won't be resolved until we figure out actual Star Trek style shields.
 
Yep, we're less than two weeks away from what I feel is going to be some mind-blowing stuff. I've seen articles where the NASA folks who have already seen images (I'm so jealous they get all of this good stuff first) say it is absolutely stunning.
 
11 days 14hrs until they release the first pictures.
