Jeremy Fowler: Chase Young Open to Returning to the Saints (4 Viewers)

A guy who picks when he wants to play hard is just terrible to have in the locker room. Even if re-signing him helps the cap, this is one cap hit that in my opinion is better to take.

On a 1 year cheap deal? Sure, anything else, no.

He's fine as a rotational player, but I don't know about anything more than that. He might/might not be in the new regime's plan anyway. Too early to say.

Can't remember who posted it here, but there was a revealing breakdown of him taking the wrong pursuit angle in that last game of the year vs. the Bucs. Instead of a sack, Mayfield scrambled for a first down.

he's the type of depth resigning at a modest price that helps hide our edge need going into the draft.

Adebo- Yes, 100%
Patrick- Yes for depth.
Pettis- Yes, KR/PR to free Shaheed to focus on playing WR
MVS- Possibly, on a cheap deal to be the 4th or 5th WR
Gay Jr- Possibly, on a cheap deal. But meh, either way.

Agreed. All of these guys are replaceable. Adebo on a cheap deal and Patrick for depth would be nice, as would MVS, but I wouldn’t lose sleep if any of them left.
