Joe Brady withdraws from Saints HC search (9 Viewers)

So Brady got 3 interview requests. He did 3 virtual ones and only got 1 request for a 2nd interview, from us. He got passed over for the Chi and the Jax job. With the indications that McCarthy wants the Saints job and he's probably the front runner, you really think it would look favorably on Brady for him to get passed over for the 3rd time??
Exactly. MM becoming available makes it significantly tougher for younger (better, who knows?) candidates. Which would be better? New youth or proven experience? Again, who knows? What I do know is MM didn’t stand a chance with Jerrah running things and he did win a Super Bowl in Green Bay. I’m good with proven experience.

Flashbacks on those WR screens has me okay with Brady dropping out…😬

Man Joe Brady kept chopping wood with the tush push that wasn’t working. The last one I did think he picked it up but it was too close to call. They should of call something else.

Brady probably isn’t ready to be a HC, his play calling this playoffs hasn’t been great.

However, that’s not really the point. The issue with Brady pulling out is the why he (and others) have done so.

Can you blame him? We won't be bringing in any big name free agents because we're so far over the cap already.

Eagles go to the Super Bowl last year and still could afford to bring in Barkley. The Saints were 5-12 and have a gigantic deficit on the cap EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

I am one who was glad he declined an interview. I don't he has the maturity and experience at this point in his career.

Also, you cannot judge any coach based on one game. But tonight Buffalo was outcoached, and I was not impressed by Brady's play-calling.
