Kellen Moore is a QB whisperer (2 Viewers)

A good coach can disguise a players weaknesses and highlight their strengths. If he can do that, we're likely to get the most out of whatever QB we end up starting. My genuine hope is that he sees someone in the middle of the draft that he already thinks fits what he wants to do and goes and gets him. If not this year, then next.

That's the thing I like the most about Moore and why I have some hope he can get the offense going fairly quickly. Maybe not the first year, but by the second year.

I also like what he has done with guys that are not great pure passing QBs and how he maximized their strengths while hiding their weaknesses. Unless we get incredibly lucky and uncover a gem future HoF QB, he's likely going to have to work with mid-level QBs and get the most out of them. The fact that he has done that in the past bodes well for his future here IMO. Not sure if that's going to be Rattler, Carr, or someone in the draft, but I really like that none of his success came with a top 5 elite level QB.

He is Cam without the circus and throws a better ball.
Still we wouldn't know about the mental game. And if we want to win playoff games, that's important. And we wouldn't know how any college QB turns out. NFL money does something to players.

I'd say no if Jeanty is generational talent, a game changing back.

Fields can scramble, so that's already something defenses would have to account for. Imagine though if Jeanty was in the backfield.

I am not confident in our current stable of backs TBH. We need someone else to supplement this group.
Where is it coming from we're getting Fields?

Just kinda stating the obvious here…My favorite thing about this not quite official yet hire, Kellen Moore knows the QB position. More specifically, he knows how to COACH the QB position and put them in position to play well.

There are many who credit fourth round draft pick Dak Prescott’s early success to Kellen Moore. I think he should be given the opportunity to develop a QB. If he likes one of our 3rd day guys, cool. But is he likes a guy in the class, get him one. I’m on record for thinking Will Howard is a potential value selection, assuming he doesn’t fly up the draft boards. There are some other really interesting QBs too. Honestly, any young QB would be exciting.

He did awesome things with Barkley so he’s not a one trick pony. He showed he can build an offense around the best players, which is remarkable. But that said, I’m most excited about what he’ll do with a QB.
Dart may fit well with his coaching style.

Solved. Trade for Baby Cam Newton in Joe Milton III, 6'5 250lbs. Dude is a straight monster. Give him WR1 T-Mac WR2 Shaheed WR3 Olave TE Fanning Jr., our defense would be trash but our offense would be second to none in the league.

With our division with a little luck we would be in contention next year, and with a true dual threat qb our OL doesn't need to be perfect.
Lol Milton is big...but doesn't run big. Has a cannon for an arm... but EXTREMELY erratic and innaccurate. No thanks

This is not a critique vid. AFR has one of the Dallas reporters who followed Moore closely in Dallas.
