Kirkwood and Ben Watson not spotted at today’s practice (3 Viewers)

I remember seeing Kirkwood limp off the field in the 4th quarter, but I didn't notice if he ever came back. That would suck. As far as I'm concerned, he's our #2 WR.

Kirkwood concerns me more as I don’t remember Watson getting hurt at all. Kirkwood has been stepping up big time lately... if he’s out then it’s TQS time

Not sure why all of the hate toward Carr. The guy has made catches it’s just that he’s not had the ball thrown his way much when he’s been out there. I have no issues with him playing in place of any injured receiver.

Watson is likely resting or had a personal issue to attend to.

Kirkwood is hurt.

Over Ginn?!?!!? I disagree.

We all saw Kirkwood with the lower leg injury.

With Ben though did he appear injured at any point in the game? You would think veterans day off, but for an NFC Championship game every practice matters it's all hands on deck at this point in the season so he probably did get banged up, I'm just trying to figure out where.. trying to rewatch the game but nothing came up.

In those highlights he's going against guys that were flipping burgers the next week, maybe?

Yeah, it's been discussed on several occasions but Carr's "outstanding" preaseason with the Patriots was practically statistically identical to the one TLL had that same year. Catches, yards, TDs pretty much the same - and then having those moments that stood out on replay. Even so, expectations for TLL have been cooler in comparison, maybe because Carr was more of the unknown. We've seen a number of players overcome mundane physical measurables develop here and have successful careers, but it always seemed like there were some fans getting way ahead on Carr. Which isn't unlike some of the enthusiasm for players in the past that didn't quite add up.

I'm not writing Carr off, he's still a young guy and we don't know that he's reached his ceiling, but I don't know what people thought they saw to base their expectations on.

*Edit to include 2017 preseason stats:

Carr (14/153 2tds)
TLL (14/165 1td)

I will wait and see hopefully it is something he can play through.
If not as always next man up. Hopefully he can at least get on the field and give it a go.

I've seen Kirkwood walking around the facility with Cam, AK, Ingram.. with Cams big arse 90's boom box. Forgot whether it was twitter or IG or what... Honestly Kirkwood looked to be walking a little funny. Foot slightly turned outwards.. similar to how he came off the field.

Ben Watson is coming up on Moving the Chains on Sirius. Maybe he'll give some indication about an injury.
