Kirkwood and Ben Watson not spotted at today’s practice (2 Viewers)

I would have thought that if there was real concern about Kirkwood’s availability for Sunday, that Marshall would have already been brought back to get some practice in? Don’t believe Carr is the same type of player at all or could fill Kirkwood’s role.

(I was thinking, for instance, if Arnold could have been on the sidelines last week at least he'd get some feel for how Sunday's game will play out as far as atmosphere...)

Ben Watson is coming up on Moving the Chains on Sirius. Maybe he'll give some indication about an injury.

Did he ever call in?

I think he was supposed to call in about 4:30ET and I didn't hear anything as of 5:40 or so.

Carr doesn’t have the size, speed, or strength that Kirky has... If he plays and Kirky can’t, that’s a downgrade at that spot.

And for the record... I’m not trying to compel or sway anyone to call him Kirky. That’s my thing. It’s a nickname in-line w/ a lot of hockey player nicknames where you just add a “y” or “er” onto the name and roll with it... ex. “Kaner” for Patrick Kane.

Wouldn't it be Kirkwoody then? Or Kirkwooder?
